Executive MBA Berne University of Applied Sciences – Switzerland
As one of the first technical colleges in Switzerland, Berne (founded 1959) has developed a continuing education program for postgraduate studies in the areas of technology and engineering sponsored by local enterprises. Today the Berne University of Applied Sciences has more than 5,000 students. Within the Center of Continuing Education, Berne specializes in start up business and entrepreneurship, innovation and technology management, international business management/globalization, and general management in Europe for special industry sectors. Major undergraduate degree programs are in general management and innovation management.
The school also offers an Executive MBA in international management, which takes place in Bern (Switzerland), Munich (Germany), St. Petersburg (Russia), Shanghai (China), and Boston (USA).
The program in Boston is accomplished by Babson College and SHARE in a one week module which will take a group of 16 Swiss Executives (30-50 years old, various industries and positions, e.g. Swisscom, Phonak, Belgacom) to the Boston area. The group has a three day academic program at Babson with a focus on Global Marketing, followed by a study trip organized by SHARE on “Innovation to Market”, where we will visit SHARE, Mitsubishi Research Lab, MIT, and companies as Straumann and OnePIN.
